The Eastern Collegiate Hockey League is an ACHA Division I club hockey league consisting of teams in the Northeast United States. The League consists of 6 teams from schools in New York and Pennsylvania.

Format

The ECHL's seven member teams play a regular season schedule consisting of 10 league games, in addition to non-conference ACHA opponents. The season concludes with the post-season ECHL Tournament. An automatic bid to the ACHA National Championship Tournament is awarded to the winner of the regular season.
